The Sussex Beacon relies heavily on fundraising to bridge the £400,000 shortfall between our funding from the Health Authority and Social Services and our actual running costs of over £1 million per year.

There are several ways to make a donation to The Sussex Beacon.

In line with the Government's drive to 'Get Britain Giving' every donation to a charity by an individual has the potential to qualify for Gift Aid, thus enabling the charity to reclaim tax.

With the new 22% basic rate, the tax refund on a donation of £100 will be £28.
