Sunday 24th March was the day our incredible fundraisers took a flight up the British Airways i360, before stepping over the side to slowly descend the 450ft drop! Starting at a fresh 7am, we were so lucky to have perfectly clear, calm, sunny weather for an amazing view of the coastal horizon and edge of the city.
The team of seven included local Kemptown MP, Lloyd Russell-Moyle, who altogether raised almost £2800 in the name of charity. We partnered with local charity RISE, who provide various methods of urgent support for those experiencing domestic abuse.
Thank you so much to our brilliant participants: three Beacon staff members, one Beacon trustee, two independent fundraisers, Lloyd Russell-Moyle and all those who came along to support! Every effort made to help support our facilities and treatments at the Sussex Beacon is always so gratefully received – we couldn’t do it without you.
