It is estimated that there are currently over 100,000 people living with HIV in the UK.
Brighton has the highest proportion of people living with HIV outside of London. That means our services are vital.
Last year we provided care and support for over 500 women, men and families affected by HIV. This year we need help to raise over £2.2 million to keep our vital services running.
That sounds like big money – and it IS.
But every gift helps, no matter the amount.
We are delighted that you are considering placing a collection box in your shop, library, cafe, pub, club, garden centre or wherever your customers pass through!
We can also provide leaflets about our services which you may wish to display. All of our corporate supporters are acknowleged on our website, unless they don’t want the free publicity! Go on – be a good egg and a put a collection box out for us. It could help save a life.
Please get in touch with our Community Fundraiser at The Sussex Beacon on 01273 694222, or email us at fundraising@sussexbeacon.org.uk to arrange delivery of a collection box and find out more.
