The Sussex Beacon Charity Shops
We have two charity shops in Brighton. Our St. James’s Street shop specialises in good quality books, DVDs and clothing, whilst our London Road Home Store (near Preston Circus) deals with furniture, electrical items and homeware. Both shops raise a significant amount of money towards our fundraising efforts.
We are always looking for good quality donations. These are welcome in person, but if you’re unable to get to the store or for larger items, we can arrange local collection, free of charge. Please call the stores to book a collection or e-mail ray.stone@sussexbeacn.org.uk.
You can now also buy selected items online at https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/sussexbeacon

Interested In Volunteering At Our Charity Shops?
Our volunteers are at the heart of Team Beacon and everything we do at our charity.
The services provided by the Beacon aren’t possible without the amazing amount of hours that our volunteers continuously give to the Beacon.
We have many different volunteering roles on offer including volunteering in our charity shops, on reception, serving meals to clients, assisting with fundraising, events, gardening and peer support.
We would love you to come and join us! If you are interested in volunteering for The Sussex Beacon and joining our ever growing team of volunteers, please get in touch.
