Remember when it was too early in the year to talk about Christmas? Not anymore! Many of us have started thinking about what we can buy for our loved ones that
will make them smile, when they unwrap their presents on Christmas Day. One of Brighton’s leading art galleries has created something that could fit the bill perfectly.
The Brighton Box will be officially launching a stunning 2022 calendar at The Sussex Beacon shop in Kemptown on Saturday, 13th November (1pm-3pm), with a signing by four artists whose works are featured; Keren Bevis, Jack Lynn, Adam Makkai and Christopher Crawford. They, along with many others, showcase Brighton life in its many different forms through the calendar, which will retail for just £14.99. To make it even more exciting, the event will be hosted by drag artist extraordinaire, Candi Rell. Candi is well known on the Brighton scene for her cheeky sense of humour, glamourous demeanour and hugely popular bar and club performances.
Situated in Dukes Lane and now also with a gift shop at Brighton Station, The Brighton Box has become an active member of the community since opening its doors at the end of 2020. Having raised more than £1,200 for The Sussex Beacon since April 2021, Sean Headley from The Brighton Box has announced 50% of all calendar sales will be donated to The Sussex Beacon.

These funds continue to assist our essential work with people living with HIV”.
