Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do, and we couldn’t provide the level of support and care we offer people living with HIV without the time and commitment they give.

Our wonderful Beacon Volunteers carry out the following roles for us:

  • Support the running of our charity shops to help raise valuable funds
  • Manage calls and answer queries at our Beacon reception desk
  • Keep our Beacon garden in bloom
  • Support our fundraising and events work at various venues across Brighton and Sussex
  • Being a Beacon Ambassador

Along with many other valuable volunteer roles.

We are very proud of our dedicated team of volunteers; they help keep The Sussex Beacon’s vibrant community spirit buzzing and really are part of the great team we have here.

If you’d like to volunteer with us at The Sussex Beacon, please complete the application form below or pop into our St James’s St or London Road charity shops and ask for an application form and a full role description. Previous experience desirable, but full training given. Full volunteer role descriptions are available on request.
